The sensor is powered by a rechargeable battery, which is charged by a solar panel, eliminating the need for battery replacements. Extensive development and testing went into ensuring the reliability of our infrared outdoor driveway alarm detector, which will dependably alert you to activity around your property while minimizing false alarms. You can adjust the sensitivity of the sensor's "eye" using a switch, with a range of 30 feet on the high setting and 20 feet on the low setting. The swivel mount allows you to refine the focus and detection angle of the sensor.
